• • This could be a one-time collection of items such as non-perishable food, children’s toys, or hygiene products — all of which are in high demand for both my program and others within the organization. I’m happy to provide a more detailed list if this is a route you’d like to take.

    • Alternatively, a one-time financial giving drive is another option. Some churches find this method simpler and more efficient to support our overall mission.

  • • This would be a larger commitment, but one that could have a significant impact. Each quarter, the church could host a drive focused on a different high-need category (e.g., hygiene products, toys, food, etc.). This consistent support could benefit numerous families across our programs.

  • • Our Children’s Home has a dedicated foster care department, and we are always in need of families willing to provide regular foster care or emergency respite care. If there’s interest, we could arrange an informational session or class to help individuals explore whether fostering is a good fit for them.

  • • Some local churches have worked with us on an "on-call" bases. For example, we’ve had families suddenly displaced due to eviction or domestic situations, leaving them with nothing. In one instance, my Monday Small Group at church was able to provide eight beds in response to an urgent need. One family was evicted and could not take their current stuff with them due to bugs and another family had the "man of the house" walk out on them and take all their beds.  Having Northbridge as part of this network could make a tremendous difference in times of crisis.

Through acts of service and genuine connection, we are committed to igniting hope and making a lasting difference in the lives of those around us.
